Ópera Lídia de Oxum volta aos palcos após 25 anos
25 anos desde sua primeira montagem, a ópera baiana Lídia de Oxum volta aos palcos do Teatro Castro Alves, em novembro, sob coordenação geral de Ildázio Júnior e direção artística de Gil Vicente, filhos de Ildásio Tavares, que junto a Lindembergue Cardoso assinam a obra.
Considerada uma demonstração da força do povo negro, a primeira ópera baiana, atravessa as décadas como um grito de resistência. São oito solistas, além do coro, orquestra sinfônica, corpo de balé e percussão para dar vida ao enredo, trazendo para o palco quase duas horas de puro encanto.
Esta remontagem em 2019 marca as comemorações dos 80 anos dos dois artistas, se estivessem vivos. Entre os nomes confirmados participam do projeto Marcio Medina (cenografia), Eduardo Tudela (luz), Miguel Carvalho (figurino e adereços), Thiago Romero (maquiagem), Jorge Silva (coreografia), Maestro Angelo Rafael (preparador vocal e regente do coro), Maestro Carlos Prazeres (Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia) e Jarbas Bittencourt (Diretor Musical Percussão)
