Mel C lança clipe inspirado em games para Blame It On Me
A spice girl Melanie C, lançou nesta quarta-feira (27) a faixa e clipe de Blame It On Me, terceiro single de seu novo álbum, ainda sem nome e previsão de lançamento.
Na nova era de sua carreira a cantora tem revisitado os tempos de Spice Girls como Sporty Spice, a persona que encarnou nos anos 90 e pelo visto faz parte de sua personalidade até hoje.
A faixa segue o tom eletrônico das lançadas anteriormente: High Heels e Who I Am. Além de músicas com muita qualidade, os clipes da Mel C estão mostrando o lado versátil da cantora que, em sua videografia, ficou mais evidente apenas nos primeiros álbuns, Northen Star e Reason.
No vídeo de Blame It On Me a cantora remete aos games no estilo Street Fighter e Mortal Kombat, além de fortes referências nas Spice Girls ao imprimir uma das bases do grupo, o “Girl Power” e menções a faixas do grupo e de sua carreira solo.
A faixa já está em primeiro lugar no iTunes do Brasil, Chile, Portugal, Eslovênia e Espanha. No Reino Unido, sua terra natal a música já está na 13ª posição no chart.
