Targino Gondim concorre ao Grammy Latino
Mais uma vez Targino Gondim figura entre os concorrentes do Grammy Latino. 19 anos depois de vencer o Oscar da Música com a canção Esperando na Janela, que também ganhou a voz de Gilberto Gil e deu ao artista espaço no longa brasileiro, “Eu, Tu, Eles”, em 2020 é a vez do artista concorrer pelo Melhor Álbum de Música de Raízes com Targino Sem Limites.
A indicação saiu nesta terça feira, dia 29 de setembro por meio do site oficial da premiação, que divulgou a lista dos 53 indicados. No álbum, cinco canções com nomes da música nacional, Ivete Sangalo, Zeca Baleiro, Saulo, Bell Marques e Carlinhos Brown. O EP está em todas as plataformas digitais. “Para um artista uma indicação como esta é uma realização, agora é torcer”, disse o artista entusiasmado.
Um dos nomes de maior destaque da música nordestina, Targino Gondim é classificado pelo sanfoneiro como World Music. “Neste projeto, mostro meu gosto musical, meu relacionamento e parcerias com amigos queridos de estilos musicais. Mostrou a força da nossa música, da nossa sanfona, da nossa gente”, completa. As músicas ganharam clipes que podem ser vistos no youtube.
Uma das maiores premiações da música latina, o Grammy Latino 2020 vai avaliar as gravações realizadas entre junho de 2019 e maio de 2020. O evento será em 19 de novembro em formato remoto.
