Vamos falar de uma paixão da culinária baiana? O acarajé sempre é uma boa pedida, seja com uma cervejinha ou com um refrigerante bem gelado. Não dá para resistir. E quem ama essa delícia típica poderá degusta-la em pleno centro histórico de Salvador.
O Dia Internacional da Mulher Negra Latino-americana e Caribenha, celebrado dia 25 de julho, esse ano, será comemorado no dia 28 de julho (domingo), com a distribuição, gratuita, do famoso bolinho de feijão frito no azeite de dendê. O evento é aberto ao público e começa às 10h, na praça da Cruz Caída, no Pelourinho.
A distribuição de acarajé é realizado pelo Ponto de Cultura da Associação Nacional das Baianas de Acarajé, Mingau, Receptivo e Similares (ABAM), entidade sem fins lucrativos, e tem como objetivo celebrar as conquistas das mulheres negras e, principalmente, promover e fortalecer o debate de enfrentamento ao racismo, sexismo e demais desigualdades raciais e sociais.
Durante o evento, além de distribuir o acarajé a ABAM estará realizando, no local, a partir das 10h, a “Feira da Mulher” com participação de empreendedoras negras; uma “Roda de Dialogo”, com foco no debate sobre empreendedorismo, violência contra a mulher e racismo; e uma oficina de torços.
Toda a programação, que contará ainda com apresentação de três bandas de samba, é aberta ao público, porém para ter acesso a oficina de torço, necessariamente, a pessoa deverá levar o seu tecido para aprender, as mais variadas formas, de fazer a indumentária que vai além do embelezamento, e cada vez mais vem fazendo a cabeça de baianos e turistas.
