Já havíamos falado aqui sobre as conquistas de artistas LGBTQI brasileiros no mercado fonográfico, mas não é só no mundo da música que as coisas estão acontecendo. O mundo da moda já se mostra com uma visão aberta sobre a diversidade e entende essa linguagem.
Temos a Léa T, que repercutiu mundialmente ao fazer uma campanha para a Givenchy, tornando-se então, a primeira modelo transgênero a aparecer em uma grande campanha da marca. Lembrando que foi o primeiro trabalho dela como modelo e fluiu de várias formas positivas. Léa T, que hoje também atua como estilista, já participou de vários outros trabalhos, como o Fashion Rio.
Outra grande novidade que vem sendo constantemente divulgada é a primeira mulher transexual a desfilar para uma das mais famosas grifes de lingerie e produtos de beleza do mundo. A modelo cearense Valentina Sampaio é o novo nome a trabalhar para a Victoria´s Secret.
Brasileiras já dominavam as passarelas da Victoria´s (Gisele, Adriana, Alessandra… a lista é grande rs), mas um espaço que até então era dominado por mulheres cisgênero. Não dá pra esquecer que no passado, o diretor de marketing da L Brands, Ed Razek (empresa detentora da Victoria’s Secret) chegou a declarar que a marca não deveria ter modelos plus size e transexuais, principalmente em seu desfile. “O show é uma fantasia. É um especial de entretenimento de 42 minutos.”
