Ópera Lídia de Oxum abre inscrições para audições de solistas
O mês de novembro não será só um mês de homenagem a consciência negra, também será um período para celebrar o retorno da Ópera Lídia de Oxum, a primeira ópera baiana. Criada por Ildásio Tavares e Lindembergue Cardoso a mais recente montagem tem inscrições para a audição dos oito solistas abertas e vai até 25 de agosto.

Para participar os interessados devem acessar o site e preencher a ficha de inscrição, enviando links de vídeo demonstrando o registro vocal.
Com coordenação geral de Ildazio Júnior e direção artística de Gil Vicente Tavares filhos de Ildásio Tavares, que junto a Lindembergue Cardoso assina a obra, a montagem acontecerá de 21 a 23 de novembro, no Teatro Castro Alves, em Salvador.
O texto é uma demonstração da força do povo negro que retorna aos palcos baianos depois de 25 anos que foi montada. A ópera atravessa as décadas como um grito de resistência. São oito solistas, além de 60 coralistas, orquestra sinfônica, corpo de balé com 20 integrantes e 10 percussionistas para dar vida ao enredo, trazendo para o palco quase duas horas de puro encanto.
A ópera, apresentada pela primeira vez em 1994, no Palco Principal do Teatro Castro Alves, é considerada a primeira montagem do tipo no Brasil, em língua portuguesa, que trata da temática afro-brasileira. A remontagem em 2019 marca as comemorações dos 80 anos de Ildásio e Lindembergue, se estivessem vivos.
Entre os nomes confirmados participam do projeto Marcio Medina (cenografia), Jorge Silva (coreografia), Maestro Angelo Rafael (preparador vocal e regente do coro) e Maestro Carlos Prazeres (Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia).
O projeto BAHIA AFRO BAHIA tem patrocínio da Skol Puro Malte, por meio da Ambev, e do Governo do Estado, por meio do Fazcultura, Secretaria de Cultura e Secretaria da Fazenda”.
