Banco Central apresenta nova cédula de R$ 200
E para quem duvidou, sim, hoje (2/9) o Banco Central vai apresentar a nova nota de R$ 200 durante uma cerimônia a partir das 13h30, horário de Brasília. No evento devem ser dados mais detalhes sobre cor, desenho e mecanismos de segurança contidos na nova cédula de Real.
A estimativa do BC é uma produção de 450 milhões de novas notas de R$ 200 até o final de 2020, o que corresponde a R$ 90 bilhões e gastos de R$ 113 milhões para essa produção. Como justificativa para a inclusão da nova cédula, o Banco Central citou o pagamento do Auxílio Emergencial que recentemente foi reduzido de R$ 600 para R$ 300. Dessa maneira o beneficiário que optar pelo saque terá mais facilidade com o dinheiro vivo.
A última atualização de cédulas de Real aconteceu em 2002 quando foi introduzida a nota de R$ 20. Um ano antes foi a cédula de R$ 2.
