Vamos recordar de uma das vozes mais lindas e poderosas que já viveu nesse planeta? Vamos! Para matar a saudade da lendária Whitney Houston, o produtor e DJ, Kygo, lançou seu novo single “Higher Love” com a voz da premiada cantora norte-americana.
É o primeiro single lançado da Whitney em uma década, desde “I Look To You” em 2009.
“Fiquei honrado quando o espólio de Whitney Houston entrou em contato e me deu a oportunidade de trabalhar com uma das maiores vocalistas femininas de todos os tempos. Eu retrabalhei a música do zero e estou muito feliz com o resultado!”, comemora Kygo.
“Higher Love” é um cover do clássico de 1986 de Steve Winwood, que celebrou seu 33º aniversário em 20 de junho. O espólio de Whitney Houston presenteou Kygo com a gravação da versão de Whitney, que foi lançada anteriormente como uma faixa bônus do álbum I’m Your Baby Tonight em 1990. Ao ouvir a faixa de Whitney, Kygo correu para o estúdio, emocionado por ter a oportunidade de fazer música com uma das maiores vocalistas femininas de todos os tempos.
“Higher Love” foi escrito por Steve Winwood, Will Jennings e produzido por Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll e Narada Michael Walden. E Kygo vai tocar a música pela primeira vez neste domingo, 30 de junho, no Pride Festival Utopia, em Nova York.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found
