Vinnicius faz homenagem a Elba Ramalho no Teatro Sesi Rio Vermelho
Em celebração aos 40 anos de carreira da cantora paraibana Elba Ramalho, o show “Vinnicius canta Elba” promete emocionar o público baiano nesta quarta, 6 de novembro, no palco do Teatro SESI Rio Vermelho.
O show traz grandes sucessos gravados pela artista, como canções desde o primeiro álbum da cantora (Ave de Prata – 1979) até os dias atuais. O público vai poder conferir músicas como Banquete de Signos, De Volta Pro Aconchego, Chão de Giz, Banho de Cheiro, entre outras.
Apaixonado por MPB, em especial pelos ritmos nordestinos, a música sempre permeou a vida de Vinnicius desde os anos 90, quando iniciou a carreira cantando na noite de Salvador, até se mudar para o Rio de Janeiro. No último São João, Vinnicius retornou aos palcos com um show na programação oficial do Pelourinho, acentuando o desejo de homenagear a cantora paraibana, com quem já produziu o CD Iluminada da cantora Márcia Short.
“Celebrar a carreira de Elba é uma enorme felicidade. A dificuldade maior foi montar o repertório, diante de toda a versatilidade de ritmos e da importância da obra da artista. O prazer de fazer este trabalho é imenso, e digo isso não apenas como artista, mas como um grande fã de Elba”, destaca Vinnicius, que também assina o roteiro do show.
A direção artística fica por conta de Dandara Ferreira, cineasta baiana que dirigiu a série O Nome dela é Gal, sobre a vida da cantora Gal Costa para o Canal HBO, trabalhou com Monique Gardenberb no show Vanessa da Mata canta Tom Jobim, além de dirigir clipes de Ricky Martin, Vanessa Da Mata e Fagner. A direção musical é do violonista José Falcão e Vinnicius será acompanhado também por Fernando Padre (baixo), Danilo Valque (bateria), Juninho San (percussão), Denny Bastos (acordeon), Alana Muinhos e Júnior Negrão (backing vocals). O show ainda conta com a consultoria de figurino de Sônia Mota.
O projeto tem patrocínio da Hita Comércio e Serviços e do Governo do Estado da Bahia, através do Fazcultura, Secretaria de Cultura e Secretaria da Fazenda.
