Mercado de trabalho afetado pela desigualdade entre os gêneros
Augusto aponta que é necessário ocorrer uma alteração do status quo da sociedade: “Felizmente, aquele pensamento retrógrado que colocava a mulher em uma situação de inferioridade nas relações de trabalho está ficando para trás. Essa é uma das chaves para uma mudança cultural e estrutural da sociedade. Todos nós sabemos que o machismo dominante prejudica as mulheres em todos os âmbitos sociais, principalmente no trabalho. O que me causa uma certa estranheza é que esse assunto seja tão século passado, mas tão atual ao mesmo tempo, que parece que os homens não nasceram dos ventres femininos, e nem possuem irmãs nem esposas. A Vexatio surgiu neste contexto, justamente porque mesmo saltando aos olhos da sociedade e sendo um assunto recorrente, não existem ações afirmativas e eficazes para a sua desconstrução.”
Ao vermos os movimentos sociais e ações afirmativas que tomaram lugar no mundo todo nos últimos meses, assim como o posicionamento de grandes marcas diante deste fenômeno, é certo que o consumidor hoje se identifica com empresas que são socialmente responsáveis, engajadas em diminuir a desigualdade e combater o preconceito: “Políticas afirmativas são importantes para uma sociedade melhor e também para mostrar aos consumidores nas redes sociais e em toda a comunicação corporativa que aquela marca tem empatia com o que acontece no mundo real. E que não ignora valores fundamentais para a sustentabilidade e existência humana, que são: a igualdade e o respeito”.
É preciso falar sobre o assédios e a desigualdade de gêneros
Segundo pesquisa feita pela BBC, nos últimos 12 meses, mais de 22 milhões (37,1%) de mulheres brasileiras passaram por algum tipo de assédio. No entanto, após sofrer o assédio, mais da metade das mulheres (52%) não denunciou o agressor ou procurou ajuda, por motivos diversos como medo de represálias ou de não serem ouvidas nem levada a sério.
Para o empreendedor e sócio fundador da Vexatio, é fundamental estender as mãos as essas mulheres e prover a cada uma delas meios de encontrar ajuda, aconselhamento jurídico e psicológico e até mesmo encorajá-las a levar as provas a uma autoridade competente.
