A iniciativa visa associar a profissionalização e a educação de jovens em situação de vulnerabilidade, com idades entre 12 e 21 anos, que contarão com aprendizagem profissional, estágios e cursos de capacitação no Estado da Bahia .
Serão atendidos nos cursos os adolescentes egressos do sistema socioeducativo, os que estão em cumprimento de medida e os adolescentes vulneráveis, que têm que estar necessariamente matriculados na rede de ensino.
A atuação da UNEB no convênio será coordenada pela Pró-Reitoria de Extensão (Proex). “Iremos mapear na UNEB e articular as ações de extensão voltadas para a ressocialização de jovens em medidas socioeducativas”, destacou a professora Adriana Marmori, pró-reitora de Extensão.
Também assinaram o documento Sebrae, Senac, Senai, Unicef, Fundação José Silveira, Fundação Cidade Mãe, Projeto Axé, Fundação Steve Biko, Fundação Jorge Amado, Ifba, IEL, Fundac, Fobap, entre outras instituições.
