Coleção Ildásio Tavares é lançada no MAM
Em 25 de janeiro de 2020 o poeta, romancista, novelista, dramaturgo, ensaísta e compositor brasileiro, Ildásio Tavares, completaria 80 anos. Celebrando a data, foi apresentada na última quinta-feira (05) a Coleção Ildásio Tavares que conta uma compilação de uma partes da produção do artista baiano.
A Ópera Lídia de Oxum abre as comemorações e será encenada nos dias 21 a 23 de novembro, no Teatro Castro Alves em Salvador. A coordenação geral da ópera é de Ildázio Júnior e direção artística de Gil Vicente Tavares filhos de Ildásio Tavares, que junto a Lindembergue Cardoso assina a obra.
A primeira ópera baiana do Brasil e a primeira ópera brasileira escrita em português, a montagem homenageia a cultura afro e será remontada 25 anos após sua estreia, com apresentações no teatro e em praça pública.
No palco, 164 artistas divididos em oito solistas, 75 músicos da Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia (OSBA), 60 coristas, 20 bailarinos, cinco percussionistas e um violeiro-repentista. “Idásio Tavares esteve muito atento a questão afro diasporica e por isso este é um momento muito importante para a gente e para a cultura da Bahia”, disso Ildazio Júnior.
“Esta coleção vem em um boa hora, ano que vem são os 80 anos de Ildásio e começar com Lídia de Oxum é iniciar em grande estilo porque ele tinha um grande carinho e apreço por esta obra, não só por ser a primeira ópera baiana, mas principalmente por ter uma temática tão urgente para uma cidade como Salvador que é majoritariamente negra. Ela fala da falsa abolição que aconteceu, o Brasil ainda precisa de mais uma ou duas abolições para tentar arrumar a injustiça e a tragédia que foi feita ao trazer os negros para cá”, disse Gil Vicente Tavares.
Entre os nomes confirmados estão o Maestro Angelo Rafael (preparador vocal e regente do coro) e Maestro Carlos Prazeres (Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia). “Temos que gritar alto contra o machismo, misoginia, racismo. Temos que gritar alto contra todo tipo de preconceito. Um dos motivos de Lídia acontecer é ser mais uma voz que grite e lute pela mulher negra”, afirmou Ildázio Júnior.
