E as indústrias brasileiras estão em alta nessa demanda. O mercado de alimentação saudável anda aquecido para produtos plant-based, sem qualquer insumo de origem animal, como as proteínas vegetais.
Um exemplo de comida saudável é o Burger Gourmet Vegan, com todas as características da carne moída bovina, mas feito à base de proteína de ervilha, lançamento da Superbom.
Para David Oliveira, diretor de marketing da Superbom, o mercado de alimentação plant-based no Brasil tem espaço para crescer mais ainda. “Dados da Euromonitor de 2015 apontam que o nosso país é o 5º maior mercado de alimentos saudáveis. Enquanto uma pesquisa realizada pela The Good Food Institute em parceria com Snapcartmostra que 29% dos brasileiros pretende reduzir ou já reduziu o consumo de carne”, argumenta.
