UFBA recebe Congresso de Pesquisadores Negros
O VII Congresso de Pesquisadores Negros e Negras da Bahia (CBPN) ou “VII Congresso de Pesquisadorxs Negrxs da Bahia” – confira o vídeo no final do texto – acontece entre os dias 17 e 19 de julho, no Campus Ondina da Ufba.
O encontro, promovido pela Associação de Pesquisadores Negros da Bahia (APNB), tem apoio da UNEB, a edição traz o tema “Políticas, saberes e tecnologias afro-diaspóricas: insurgências nas contemporaneidades negras”.
“A iniciativa tem como objetivo colocar em debate modos de insurgências negras que são produzidos nos espaços da afro-diáspora, forjando e demandando a implementação de políticas públicas, a reinvenção dos saberes e os modelos de reordenamento de ocupação dos territórios físicos e simbólicos”, explica a organização.
A programação conta com grupos temáticos e apresentações de trabalhos. As atividades possuem perspectiva transdisciplinar e estabelecem diálogos com os diversos percursos epistemológicos que compõem as contemporaneidades negras.
Ou seja, teremos gente preta falando em variados painéis de extrema importância cultural e de empoderamento. Uma oportunidade, inclusive, para você ir além dos muros das redes sociais para o entendimento, logo enfrentamento, do preconceito, machismo e racismo que estrutura a produção em diversos setores.
Vale ressaltar que, apesar das restrições orçamentárias feitas às universidades públicas, o Comitê Organizador do VII CBPN decidiu pela prorrogação do prazo de inscrição e revisão das tarifas aos pesquisadores interessados. Confira a nota oficial do Congresso divulgado no Facebook.
