Clínica especializada atende população LGBTQI+ em Salvador
Desde o mês de agosto está em funcionamento aqui em Salvador a primeira clínica privada especializada no atendimento da população LGBTQI+ na Bahia.
A iniciativa da Clínica Plural – Assistência Integrada em Saúde e Gênero, oferece atendimento nas áreas de Endocrinologia, Cirurgia Plástica, Urologia, Psiquiatria, Psicologia, Nutrição e Fisioterapia. Atendendo a demanda de um grupo que tem demandas específicas e muitas vezes sem atendimento que garanta o mínimo de respeito.
No caso da população trans, no Brasil, grande parte dos atendimentos acontecem em Hospitais Universitários e Centros de Referência através do SUS, ou a profissionais particulares avulsos. Em Salvador a situação é mais grave, pois o Hospital das Clínicas não conseguiu ainda autorização do Ministério da Saúde.
Contudo, na clínica é possível ter orientação para o processo transexualizador. O indivíduo é acompanhado pela equipe desde o pré-operatório até o pós. São realizados atendimentos psicológico e psiquiátrico, acompanhamento nutricional e da fisioterapeuta especializada em uroginecologia. Além de procedimentos realizados pelo cirurgião plástico, como a retirada de glândulas mamárias, redução do pomo de adão, feminilização ou masculinização da face, dentre outras.
A Plural surgiu de uma ideia compartilhada por quatro médicos: a psiquiatra Larissa Freitas, a endocrinologista Renata Lago, o urologista Ubirajara Barroso e o cirurgião plástico José Amandio, que decidiram criar uma clínica em que o público LGBTQAI+ fosse atendido adequadamente e ouvido por especialistas empáticos com suas demandas.
O horário de funcionamento da Clínica Plural é de segunda à quinta, das 8h às 18h, e sexta-feira, das 8h às 17h. Os telefones de contato são (71) 3334-6149 e (71) 99993-6149, sendo esse último também WhatsApp.
