#SetembroAmarelo 💛 SPMJ realiza Papo com a Juventude
De acordo com dados divulgados pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), o suicídio é a segunda maior causa de morte entre jovens, de 15 a 29 anos. Esses dados representam um aumento de 40% de suicídios entre os brasileiros nessa faixa etária, na última década, segundo dados oficiais.

Diante desta perspectiva, a Secretaria de Políticas para as Mulheres, Infância e Juventude (SPMJ) realiza nesta terça-feira (10), às 14h, no Espaço Colabore – Parque da Cidade, o Papo com a Juventude, que será a primeira edição da iniciativa focada no Setembro Amarelo.
O objetivo da ação é conscientizar a população jovem, quebrando tabus e preconceitos que rodeiam o tema, promovendo a valorização da vida e o aumento da autoestima. Através de uma metodologia descontraída e de linguagem casual, o coordenador de Juventude da secretaria, Bruno Moreno, fará uma discussão participativa, além de intervenções culturais de grupos artísticos.
“Combater o suicídio é um caminho possível, pois 90% dos casos poderiam ser evitados, apenas com a ajuda adequada, e essa ajuda vem de cada um de nós, por meio de apoio e motivação podemos salvar vidas”, afirma Rogéria Santos, secretária da SPMJ.
