Salvador recebe Semana do Design
Entre os dias 17 e 20 de outubro já poderemos conferir a Semana do Design Salvador, no Espaço Colabore que fica no Parque da Cidade. Ao mesmo tempo acontece a exposição Mercado do Design, no Shopping da Bahia, em Salvador.
O legal desses eventos é poder conferir tópicos como o design de produto e joias; design circular – economia e desenvolvimento sustentável – o olhar do design acerca do atual cenário no estado e no âmbito nacional, além da indústria criativa de Salvador (com a estrutura que envolve o Carnaval e o design do trio elétrico, camarotes, instrumentos musicais, dentre outros aspectos).
O encontro reunirá diversos profissionais da área, com foco em promover a cidade como vetor de desenvolvimento através do design e integrada à economia criativa. A programação é voltada para profissionais do design em toda sua pluralidade e integração e o público em geral. Serão realizadas palestras, talks, labs, exposições, oficinas, workshops, música e até atividades especiais voltadas ao público infanto-juvenil.
Idealizada pelo designer Anderson Falcão, que também faz a curadoria do projeto, a Semana Design Salvador traz como proposta colocar a Capital Baiana – a primeira do Brasil – no cenário mundial dos eventos de Design, como já acontecem em cidades como Milão, Londres, Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo.
Quem participa tem a possibilidade de traduzir em traços, cores e formatos, aquele que é o objeto de desejo do consumidor; desconstruir padrões; criar e revelar através do design, produtos que agregam soluções para o nosso dia-a-dia. Não é que suas sobras estejam longe de nossos olhares atentos ou do cotidiano de qualquer consumidor, se restringindo a mercados sofisticados.

Design, a meu ver, é propósito, experiência e afetividade.”, comenta Falcão.
