Domingo no TCA apresenta criação conjunta do BTCA e Osba
A atração do Domingo no TCA em outubro leva aos palcos da Sala Principal do Teatro Castro Alves (TCA) o resultado do trabalho coletivo entre o Balé Teatro Castro Alves (BTCA) e a Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia (Osba).
Depois de oito anos sem uma criação conjunta, os dois corpos artísticos da Bahia fazem renascer a obra ‘A História do Soldado’, da composição do russo Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971), a partir de texto do suíço Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz (1878-1947).
Com texto e direção de Wanderley Meira, coreografia de Jorge Silva e regência de Eduardo Torres, o espetáculo será apresentado neste domingo (6), às 11h. Os ingressos custam R$ 1,00 (inteira) e R$ 0,50 (meia), vendidos apenas no dia do evento, a partir das 9h, com acesso imediato à plateia do teatro.
A adaptação mantém intacta a versão original da composição musical, mas faz a história do soldado, que vende seu violino ao diabo, ganhar uma discussão contemporânea sobre o lugar do artista e da arte na atualidade. O diretor artístico do BTCA, Wanderley Meira, conta que o objetivo é dialogar com a ideia de soldados-artistas que podem ser diabos das suas próprias trajetórias. “A obra é sobre a persistência e a resistência dos artistas que mantêm a marcha, apesar dos desvios e obstáculos”.
As duas companhias públicas são mantidas pelo Complexo Teatro Castro Alves, por meio da Fundação Cultural do Estado (Funceb) e da Secretaria de Cultura (Secult). Para o diretor artístico da Osba, Carlos Prazeres, o coração do TCA é formado pelos seus dois corpos estáveis. “Ver este coração pulsando saudável para correr maratonas deve ser o nosso objetivo. Foi com este intuito que a Osba fez o convite ao BTCA. Se ‘Pedro e o Lobo’, de Prokofiev, já provou o quão longe esta parceria pode chegar, ‘A História do Soldado’, de Stravinsky, vem para reafirmar e solidificar esta união, que deve ser celebrada a cada segundo”, assegura.
Para compor o enredo, os atores Daniel Farias e Fernanda Silva participam como narradores convidados. Cenário, figurino e maquiagem foram assinados por Zuarte Júnior e a iluminação é de João Sanches.
