Até o dia 19 de outubro, das 9h às 17h, funcionará no Shopping Center Lapa a Sala Rosa, onde serão ofertadas diversas atividades educativas acerca da prevenção e detecção precoce dos cânceres de mama e de colo do útero e de promoção da saúde, realizadas por profissionais que atuam nos postos da capital.
Outra ação de destaque é Outubro Rosa nas Comunidades, que acontecerá nos dias 16, 18, 22, 29 e 30, das 13h às 17h, com a realização de diversas atividades educativas e encaminhamento para realização de exames. As ações acontecem nos dias 16 e 18, no Bairro da Paz e em Mussurunga; no dia 22, em Cajazeiras, no dia 22 de outubro; no dia 29, em Brotas; e no dia 30, no Cabula.
Já o Dia D do Exame Preventivo/Papanicolau será realizado em todas as unidades básicas de saúde durante o mês de outubro, das 8h às 17h. Nessas unidades, foi definido um dia da semana para atendimento à demanda espontânea das mulheres para a realização do exame. Serão desenvolvidas, ainda, atividades educativas sobre a temática, contemplando a discussão de saúde integral da mulher.
As ações são promovidas pela Prefeitura, através da Secretaria Municipal da Saúde (SMS) e da Secretaria Municipal de Políticas para Mulheres, Infância e Juventude (SPMJ).
Mamografias
Até o início do mês de outubro, a Secretaria Municipal da Saúde ofertou 58.725 exames de mamografia. Desse montante, 40.096 foram agendados. Ou seja, a oferta é ainda maior que a procura. Visando ampliar a realização do exame, o secretário municipal da Saúde, Leo Prates, determinou a intensificação de ações relacionadas a promoção da saúde da mulher.
“É importante por ser uma estratégia de mobilização social que contribui para conscientizar a população sobre a importância da prevenção dos cânceres de mama e do colo do útero, e do diagnóstico precoce destas doenças. Estamos reunindo todos os esforços nestas ações para que tenhamos um Outubro Rosa repleto de conscientização, prevenções e resultados”, afirmou o gestor.
