Quando pensamos em compra online, os maiores consumidores que vêm em mente são os mais jovens, certo? Errado. De acordo com o Compre&Confie, empresa de inteligência de mercado para e-commerce, quem domina os pedidos feitos on-line é a Geração Y (pessoas entre 25 e 39 anos).
Ainda segundo a pesquisa, no segundo trimestre, os consumidores da Geração Y concentram 48,4% do total de pedidos realizados, totalizando 18,8 milhões de compras no período. Em faturamento, esse grupo gerou R$ 7,8 bilhões em compras no período.
E o que esse pessoal anda comprando? Em sua maior parte, o foco das compras são Moda e Acessórios; Entretenimento; Móveis, Construção e Decoração; Eletrodomésticos e Ventilação; e Brinquedos e Bebês.
“A geração Y tem um perfil de consumo bastante parecido com a geração Z, formada por pessoas que nasceram a partir de 1995. Ambos buscam por comodidade para consumir entretenimento, moda e decoração, por exemplo. Enquanto isso, os consumidores da geração X, nascidos entre 1960 e 1979, buscam mais por artigos para a casa, itens relacionados à saúde e eletrodomésticos. É um perfil similar ao dos Baby Boomers, que nasceram entre 1940 e 1959”, comenta André Dias, diretor executivo do Compre&Confie..
Você deve estar pensando que agora sim vem a geração Z. Errou de novo. Quem assume o segundo lugar é a Geração X (consumidores nascidos entre 1960 e 1979). Ao todo, essa geração realizou 11,6 milhões de pedidos no segundo trimestre (29,8% do total realizado no período) e gerou faturamento de R$ 4,9 bilhões (representando 30,6% do total).
Na terceira colocação (Finalmente rs), vem a Geração Z. Do total de pedidos no 2º trimestre, 6,2 milhões foram feitos por consumidores que nasceram a partir de 1995, representando 16,1% do total.
Ao todo, o varejo digital movimentou 16 bilhões de reais no segundo trimestre. Somando todos os grupos de consumidores, foram realizados 38,9 milhões de pedidos. O tíquete médio geral de compras foi de R$413,10.
