Balé Teatro Castro Alves terá aulas em Outubro
Pilates, Balé Clássico e Danças afro-brasileiras. Essas serão as aulas abertas oferecidas pelo Balé Teatro Castro Alves (BTCA) em outubro. A ação abre as portas dos bastidores da companhia oficial de dança da Bahia, compartilhando suas técnicas e conhecimentos com outros profissionais da área.

Ministradas por dançarinos do próprio BTCA, as turmas se voltam a pessoas com experiência intermediária e avançada, ou para acompanhamento de ouvintes. Todos os encontros são das 13h15 às 14h30, com vagas gratuitas, ocupadas na hora e local: Piso C da Ala A do Teatro Castro Alves (TCA).

Companhia pública de dança contemporânea fundada em 1981, o Balé Teatro Castro Alves (BTCA) tem direção artística de Wanderley Meira e é um corpo artístico estável do Teatro Castro Alves (TCA), vinculado à Fundação Cultural do Estado da Bahia (Funceb) e à Secretaria de Cultura do Governo do Estado da Bahia (SecultBA).
Conta no seu repertório com mais de 70 montagens de importantes coreógrafos. Em sua história recente, destacam-se “Lub Dub” (2017), “Urbis in Motus” (2017), “Tamanho Único” (2018), “CHAMA: Coreografia para artistas incendiárixs” (2018) e “A História do Soldado” (2019), esta em parceria com a Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia (OSBA).
